Gaining Agreement On Requirements

One of the challenges that IT departments face is getting project teams to agree on requirements. Typically, the project team is made up of both users, who know the business, and technicians who understand the technology.

  • Technicians might say that the users are most concerned about ensuring that the system does everything possible.
  • Users, on the other hand, might say that the technicians are most concerned about making sure that the system does the least possible so as not to negatively impact their precious systems.
