In the facilitative/consulting world of work there are many methods of asking for and receiving feedback from participants on meetings that are facilitated. Methods for receiving feedback include round robin and consensus discussions, electronic feedback surveys and hard copy feedback forms. While participative discussion following a facilitated meeting can be the best source of actionable feedback for the facilitator, not every group is eager to participate in such discussions after having spent what could have been a considerable amount of time discussing their own improvement opportunities. Experience and common sense tells us that if an individual is unhappy completing a form following a lengthy meeting, it is likely that the feedback received on that form is not going to be completely free of bias. A favorite method of facilitators to ask for and receive feedback is the Plus/Delta.
