Stuart Smith
Stuart is a results-focused facilitation, training and quality professional, and is a Certified Professional Facilitator (CPF) and is working towards his Certified Master Facilitator (CMF) designation. In the past 20 years, he has worked in a variety of organization settings to include the US military, higher education, criminal justice, state government and private and public companies.
Stuart started facilitating small-group leadership programs in 1990 and now focuses his facilitation practice on helping people and organizations improve and deal with change. His specialty is helping organizations improve product and service quality by learning new skills (from basic problem-solving to Six Sigma), changing leadership behaviors and addressing systemic barriers (performance management, reward programs, reporting structures) and cultural issues (values, beliefs and behaviors) that impede change. He also has solid experience helping organizations both install and realize the benefits of new CRM and ERP technology systems.
Stuart is a customer-oriented professional with an in-depth understanding of systems theory, how people work most effectively in organizations and process variation. He has an extensive training background with a M.Ed. in Adult Education from Seattle University. He holds the following professional certifications: Professional of Human Resources (PHR), Certified Quality Manger (CQM)
