Description

Discover how to integrate artificial intelligence into your facilitation practice and transform the way you prepare, design, deliver, and document collaborative sessions.

Leadership Strategies' Certified AI-Enabled Facilitator™ (CAEF) is an interactive, two-day virtual workshop designed specifically for facilitators, project managers, consultants, and organizational leaders who want to harness the power of AI to improve their facilitation effectiveness.

Unlike traditional AI courses that focus on general tools and prompting techniques, this program teaches you how to apply AI throughout the entire facilitation lifecycle, from preparing for sponsor interviews and designing effective agendas to anticipating group dynamics and documenting session outcomes.

Through six hands-on exercises, you'll gain practical experience using AI to address real facilitation challenges while developing the judgment needed to determine when and how AI can best support your work.

You'll also learn Leadership Strategies' proprietary Facilitator's Power Prompt™ (CRAFT-Q) framework, a repeatable approach to generating more effective AI outputs tailored to your facilitation needs.

Whether you're facilitating strategic planning sessions, project kickoffs, leadership retreats, stakeholder meetings, or team workshops, you'll leave with practical techniques you can immediately apply to save preparation time, improve session design, and deliver meaningful results.

Certification

Participants who wish to earn the Certified AI-Enabled Facilitator™ designation must successfully complete all six hands-on exercises and pass the optional certification assessment.

The assessment evaluates your ability to apply AI appropriately and effectively throughout the facilitation lifecycle.

The certification assessment is optional. You may participate in the workshop solely for professional development without pursuing the designation.

Participants who earn the CAEF designation receive a certification credential that recognizes their demonstrated ability to apply AI to facilitation.

Certification is subject to a two-year renewal cycle, including four hours of AI continuing education and a $125 renewal fee.

Course Objectives

This intensive, two-day virtual workshop combines instructor-led learning, practical demonstrations, peer collaboration, and six hands-on exercises designed around real facilitation scenarios.

Rather than simply watching AI demonstrations, you'll actively apply AI throughout the facilitation lifecycle.

The Six Hands-On Exercises

1. Sponsor Interview Preparation

Use AI to develop targeted interview questions, identify stakeholder considerations, and formulate hypotheses that help you prepare for productive sponsor conversations.

2. Agenda Development

Create structured, timed agendas using AI, then evaluate and refine your results to ensure they support your session objectives.

3. Opening Statements

Develop compelling opening statements that establish purpose, encourage engagement, and create an effective environment for collaboration.

4. Session Design

Use AI to develop detailed facilitation processes, identify appropriate activities, establish timing, and explore alternative approaches.

5. Anticipating Group Dynamics

Identify potential stakeholder concerns, anticipate disagreements, and develop strategies for addressing challenges during your session.

6. Session Documentation

Explore how AI can help transform session discussions into organized summaries, actionable recommendations, and professional deliverables.

Throughout the workshop, you'll practice using the Facilitator's Power Prompt™ framework and learn how to evaluate AI-generated outputs while maintaining the essential human judgment that effective facilitation requires.
