Process Improvement Project Leader, American Fidelity Assurance Co.
“What effective facilitation of a Lean initiative produces is team buy-in, an understanding of the team’s purpose, and a true commitment from the team to implement the action plan. Wonderful by-products are fewer follow-up meetings and team members who are excited about Lean.”

What is “meeting facilitation?”
A facilitated session is a highly-structured meeting in which the meeting leader (the facilitator) guides the participants through a series of predefined steps to arrive at a result that is created, understood and accepted by all participants. The facilitator does not dictate the solution but, instead, uses a focused process accompanied by engagement strategies to optimize group dynamics and help the group maximize its results.
